This is an ever increasing problem of anti social activity increasing a growing financial burden on victims and communities. 

President Trump has consistently expressed strong support for the Israeli government's military campaign in Gaza. Many international organisations, humanitarian agencies, and legal experts have raised grave concerns about the scale of civilian deaths, the humanitarian crisis, and allegations of violations of international law. Many people believe that political leaders who have supported these actions should not be celebrated or welcomed at prestigious international events in Ireland. We are also concerned by President Trump's record regarding women. In 2023, a jury found him civilly liable for sexually abusing and defaming writer E. Jean Carroll. Although this was a civil case, the judge later stated that the jury's verdict established that Mr Trump had, in the ordinary meaning of the word, raped Ms Carroll. These findings are deeply troubling and, in our view, are inconsistent with the standards expected of guests associated with major sporting events. This petition is not about political disagreement alone. It is about the message Ireland sends by extending recognition or hospitality to individuals whose actions, conduct, and public positions have caused widespread concern both domestically and internationally. We respectfully call upon the organisers of the Irish Open and the relevant public authorities to ensure that President Donald Trump is not afforded an official role or public platform in connection with the event. The Eel Anguilla  is a critically endangered species and the capture of 25 tonnes of Silver eels by the Lough Neagh fisherman's Co op is not in the name of conservation. Please sign this petition to let DAERA know that it is wrong to issue a licence for this fiasco. 

On Saturdays the Number 39 bus between Warrenpoint and Newry runs only every two hours. What should be a vital transport link becomes a barrier to work, shopping, visiting friends and relatives, attending events, and connecting with rail and bus services from Newry to Belfast, Dublin and elsewhere. Public transport is particularly important for younger people, older people, those on lower incomes, and anyone without access to a car. For many people, the bus is not a convenience but a necessity. We call on Translink to: • Review the Saturday Number 39 service between Warrenpoint and Newry and introduce an hourly daytime service. • Remove unnecessary barriers to bus use, including peak-time fares on Saturday morning services and improve  Warrenpoint-Newry amd onward rail and bus services  While this petition focuses on Warrenpoint, the Number 39 route also serves Rostrevor and Kilkeel. Better Saturday services would improve access to jobs, services, leisure opportunities and visitor destinations across South Down, including Kilbroney Park.

Lough neagh is being poisoned

Simple answer is, this is our drinking water! This is our environment!  We are practically living in open sewers!  Our wastewater infrastructure need massive investment to bring them up to scratch!  Stop the bonuses of CEO and managements would be a start! Cap salaries and stop so called expense, the government will soon notice there is more money available towards upgrading the water works than they think. . If we don’t act, the landscapes we love—our peatlands, wildlife, and heritage—will be lost forever to short-term interests and irreversible damage. If you care about nature, climate justice, and democracy, this affects you. Together we can demand real protection for AONBs, a fairer energy future, and stop developers from deciding the fate of our most precious places.

The developer must halt the construction immediately to safeguard our natural heritage and comply with the legal obligations set forth to protect endangered species. This restaurant will cause massive environmental damage if opened. 

This issue is important because it reflects badly on society  If people torture animals it is almost inevitable they will do the same to humans many studies have shown this to be the case

If the quarry is allowed to expand local wildlife’s habitat will be destroyed and local residents will have their right to peaceful enjoyment of their homes striped from them. Once the beautiful countryside in Magherally is gone, we can never get it back. Respiratory problems could worsen, silica dust is carcinogenic and could lead to increased health concerns. Noise and dust pollution will increase. Badgers, bats, foxes, yellowhammers and Irish hares will be out at risk. No amount of economical gain is worth putting lives, wildlife and heritage at risk.
